However, the Apple Store and Apple Authorized Service Providers can provide repair services for up to two years after a device is categorized as obsolete. Products that are more than seven years from the date they were stopped manufactured will be added to Apple's obsolete products list.

Apple recently announced two models that will be phased out, the iPhone 5c and the iPad mini 3. According to Apple's official, Apple will classify the iPhone 5c and the iPad mini 3 as obsolete products from the next month November 1st 2022, which means that all repairs and maintenance service will be stopped.

The iPhone 5c is also one of Apple's most iconic models, which was released on September 11, 2013, and is now nine years old. The iPhone 5c is not Apple's best-selling model, but it certainly left a deep impression on most iPhone users.

The iPhone 5c was launched at the same time as the iPhone 5s, when the iPhone 5s was called "the world's smartest phone" and the iPhone 5c was called "the most colorful iPhone to date". Because they were listed together, they will also be compared together, but the two products are positioned differently, and their configurations are also different. The iPhone 5s also looks more advanced than the iPhone 5c. iPhone 5s has an aluminum case, while the iPhone 5c's case is made of a steel reinforced frame and a hard film polycarbonate material.

The focus of the iPhone 5c is more on colorful colors, and it is the beginning of colorful iPhones. There are blue, green, pink, yellow and white, although it sounds a bit fancy, but when it was first launched, I believe these color matching also attracted a lot of young people.

In addition to the iPhone 5c, the previous iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, iPhone 6s, and iPhone 6 Plus are also listed as obsolete products in the list. It is possible that in a few years, they will be officially retired, and by then there will be more people who will lament it. Especially the iPhone 6, 6s and 6 Plus, although they have become obsolete, there are still a lot of people still using them.
